Schon vor ein paar Tagen hat "molleman" aus dem CryMod.com Forum sein neue entwickeltes "Enhanced DCL 0.1" präsentiert. Es basiert auf dem bereits bekannten DCL von "aarbro", welches viele Mods und Addons vereint und diese gleichzeitig in einer Map verfügbar macht. Hinzugefügt von ihm wurde jetzt die Unterstützung von Waffen. Desweiteren erstellte er 2 sehr schöne Waffen Packs die natürlich voll kompatibel zum neuen EDCL sind. Ein Pack beinhaltet Price's Waffen aus seiner Shens Coop mod und das andere wurde aus Waffen der Freestyle-Productions Jungs zusammegestellt.

If you always wanted to play the Far Cry singleplayer with new effects, graphics and weapons should check out "The Cry Effect" mod. Next to the already named features a lot of other extras like a matrix slow motion effect and new weapon sounds are included as well. The 80MB sized video, which was created by Highway aka. Wer schon immer mal  den Far Cry Singleplayer Modus mit neuen Effekten, Grafiken und Waffen spielen wollte ist bei der Mod "The Cry Effect" genau richtig. Neben den eben genannten Features wurden auch noch jede Menge andere Extras wie z.B. einen Matrix slow motion Effekt und komplett neue Waffensounds mit eingebaut. Dieses knapp 80MB große Video das von Highway aka.Sean aus dem Crymod.com Forum erstellt wurde zeigt nur einen kleinen Vorgeschmack auf das, was euch bei dieser Modifikation alles erwartet. Since now the new Far Cry Patch 1.33 32bit can be downloaded. The 21MB sized file includes following change log:

• This patch supports 32 bit only.
• This patch will update versions 1.31 and 1.32 to Far Cry 1.33.
• Far Cry patch 1.33 contains all the fixes found in 1.32.
• Fixed issue with extended characters in players names causing server crashes.
• Included version checking so that only 1.33 clients can connect to 1.33 servers.
• Resolved some online cheating issues.

For all server administrators one important message! If you don't have the possibility to install the patch directly on the server you just need to upload the to patch 1.33 updated complete bin32 folder and the new SCRIPTS.pak (can be found in FCData).

Für alle Server-Administratoren gibt es noch eine wichtige Meldung! Falls nicht die Möglichkeit besteht den Patch auf dem Server direkt zu installieren, müssen einfach nur das vorher auf Patch 1.33 geupdatete komplette Bin32-Verzeichnis und die neue SCRIPTS.pak (zu finden in FCData) hochgeladen werden.
