There're some new informations about the "Obsidian Edge 2 MOD" (for Crysis) available.

The update includes four new WIP's, a description of the new gametyp "Defiance" and last but not least, all team members are listed.

Es gibt wieder ein paar neue Informationen zur "Obsidian Edge 2 MOD" (für Crysis).

Die leider nur in Englisch verfügbare News, beinhaltet unter anderem eine Vorstellung des Teams hinter OE2, sowie vier neue WIP's und eine Beschreibung des neuen Spieltyps "Defiance".

Neben gefakten Chinesischen Benchmarks sorgt nur ein angegebenes Releasedatum der ESL für leichte Verwirrung in der Crysis Fangemeinde.

Der 31. August 2007 wurde dort als Releasedatum angegeben und basiert auf reiner Spekulation der ESL.

Crytek hat nach den Verschiebungen kein offizielles Releasedatum angegeben. Die aktuellste Meldung basiert auf ein Video vom 12. Januar 2007, wo Crytek´s Lead Designer - Jack Mamais sagt:
- "wenn alles glatt läuft, kommt es noch dieses Jahr (2007)"

Das Releasedatum werden wir für euch in diesem Thread immer aktuell halten.

Almost one hour ago we received an eMail from Alexander Marschal (CryTek Community Manager) with a statement from EA/CryTek about the faked benchmarks which can be found on a chinese website two days ago.

Here's the Original-Statement:
“We understand there are some rumours in some of the message boards about technology benchmarks as it relates to Crysis and we want to assure you that these are just rumours. We realize that the technical specifications and requirements are a huge topic among our community and when we are prepared to give out our system spec recommendations, you will be the first to find out. Please treat everything you do not hear directly from us as speculation.”

Vor knapp einer Stunde erreichte uns eine eMail von Alexander Marschal (CryTek Community Manager) mit einem Statement von EA/CryTek zu den gefälschten Benchmarks die vor ein paar Tagen auf einer chinesischen Webseite auftauchten.
