The dispute between North Korea and the United States is copped. Based on the illegal actions from North Korea on September 21st the U.S. military has started a counter-offensive. In the morning at 06:00AM Pacific Standard Time a North Korean outpost in the rainy area around “Seonbong” has been attacked by some task force units.



The base has been heavily damaged and internal information about the NK Headquarter on Kiribati island has been downloaded from the mainframe.

To get the game into your hands by November the 16th, we had to make this call.

Now the good news - the big surprise. The SP demo will be released with our CryEngine 2 - Sandbox 2 game editor, giving the community the opportunity to get familiar with the vast amount of tools they will have at their disposal four weeks before we ship, something we have always wanted to do.

This is an exciting time for us at the studio as the development of Crysis comes to an end and we are only a few weeks from Gold Master.

We appreciate your patience and are looking forward to getting Crysis into your hands on November 16th.

Traurig aber wahr, die Crysis SP Demo wird sich um einen Monat, auf den 26. Oktober 2007 verschieben.

Da Crytek eine Top-Demo liefern will, haben sie sich entschlossen die Demo zu verschieben.

Attention! This is a report from our Crysis-HQ Specialists:

The North Korean military located at the Headquarters on Kiribati island (Codename: Shore) succeeded in their secret mission to significantly harm the U.S. forces. After the leak of confidential North Korean information on September 19th a special forces unit managed to infiltrate the “USS Savannah” which is used as main pivot for tactical operations of the U.S. forces in that area. Right before the NK infiltrators got detected and were eliminated, they have been able to upload tactical information about the submarine headquarter to their strategic command center.

We have set up our german high-tech spy satellite and catched the Top Secret information.

 

Now we don't know for how long we can provide you this information since a group of U.S. hackers are already tracing us. Have a look at the information quickly before our page is getting shut down!

Gestern sind durch Electronic Arts die minimalen Systemanforderungen zu Crysis bekannt gegeben worden. Mittlerweile sind diese Angaben widerrufen worden.

Crytek´s Community Manager Alexander Marschal hat dazu ein Statement abgegeben was wir euch nicht vorenthalten wollen.

Greetings everyone!

Just to let you know the system requirements have been removed from the EA Store page. The release was accidental and in addition to that these are NOT the final system requirements for Crysis. We are still working on optimizing the game and cannot name the final specs at this stage.

We will inform the community as soon as we have finished our work and have a clear view how the minimum requirements for Crysis will look like.
