Cloud_Ruins v1.0 - ENV Map
An ancient floating island - the player appears there for unknown reasons!
Story:
There is no real storyline to this map, it is merely one with lots of nice plants, trees, meteors and ancient ruins.
As plain as it is, basically, you appear with a load of white orbs flying round you. They dissapear and you fall to the ground - you were floating in mid air. You then make your way along the floating island, past trees, plants, rocks, and some ancient ruins. Soon you will reach a larger ruin. After that there is a pool. A floating pool of water... Then next to that is a waterfall! You need to get to the top... By finding a way. Once you are at the top, you find another pool and a smaller waterfall. This area to is full of grass and trees. You need to get to the "end" of this area. Once there, you will find a gateway, this is the end of the map... Once you go through it, it is. When you approach it, the ancient gateway will activate, creating a portal. If you want to stay... then whatever, but usually you would go through this portal. Once you walk through it, you reach the Main menu Screen... Level over.
Bugs:
I hope there are not too many... But, any bugs, glitches, etc. Please post them on this thread. Thanks. For any tunnels (from the base to the mid way point between the top and bottom of the water fall), I have not got an visareas... Mainly because I could not get them to work well... So I used fog volumes to make it look a little darker. The rain, I know that in some places, it may disappear and re-appear. This is because I do not have vis areas in certain places, to try to solve this, I added prox.triggers to disable the rain effect, then activate it again when you are out of the trigger "area".
This map may be VERY VERY slow. The map is small, but all most of the map is in close together. Huge amounts of solids will (As in the map) lower your fps severely! Final note, I have tried to optimize the map (add occlude areas, change view distances, etc).

Features:
- There are some secret areas or easter eggs. Feel free to post any secrets you find in the map.
- You can die in this map if you want to, just jump off the edge of the waterfall or off the edge... Then the map will reload!
- The ruins are all made using the solid tool.
- A simple path from one end to the other. Its a simple enough path and hopefully clearly shown.
- No, this has nothing to-do with Crysis... Apart from a secret in the map...
- Go to your Crysis level folder: -> Electronic Arts/Crytek/Crysis/Game/Levels/.
- Eventually backup a existing Level folder with the same name.
- Extract the levelfolder from the downloaded archive if necessary by using an extracter such as 7-zip.
- Copy the downloaded levelfolder into the Levels folder.
- Start Sandbox 2 Editor.
- Open the level's respective .cry file and have fun.
