After positive feedback from players at gamescom 2013, free-to-play FPS Warface has been edging closer to launch with a fresh round of Closed Beta tests. And with further extended play tests for the game getting under way from tomorrow, Crytek are inviting even more Warface fans to get in on the action!
From today, everyone who has previously participated in any Warface Beta will be able to play again at the following times and dates:
Crytek’s upcoming free-to-play shooter Warface is currently on display at several locations at the GameX convention in Istanbul, Turkey.
The Crytek team in Istanbul came to the city in style: they brought a tank replica to the expo to get prospective Warface soldiers excited to play the game. There are several stations where players can sign up for Warface Closed Beta and at the Playstore booth players have the chance to get more info about pre-order Warface Credit packages. The game casts you as part of Warface, a select unit of elite warriors that have banded together to fight Blackwood – the ruling brute-force government. It features intense first-person shooter co-op and competitive multiplayer gameplay with regularly updated content.
Warface wird Anfang 2014 für Microsoft's XBOX 360 erscheinen. Welches der Crytek-Studios die Entwicklung bzw. Umsetzung für die Konsole durchführen wird, steht derzeit noch nicht fest. Die PC Version wird in Kiev entwickelt, ob das auch für die Konsolenversion so sein wird, bleibt abzuwarten.
Es wird ein XBOX-Live Gold Account benötigt um Warface spielen zu können. Weitere Kosten kommen auf den Spieler für den F2P-Shooter nicht zu.
Wer auf der GamesCom (2013) war wird sie kennen, sie war dort ebenfalls spielbar. Auch wer die russische Version von Warface gepielt hat kennt die Map bereits. Das kann von Vorteil sein...
