Today the X-Isle Team have kindly decided to release the X-Isle mod. Although it unfinished, there are plenty of assets to explore and use with new characters, weapons, vegetation and of course the Dinosaurs. You can know have T-Rex, Raptors, Pteranodons etc in your maps. Please ensure that should you use the assets that you credit the X-Isle Team in your readme file. Some of the maps, which come with the Cry file, can be played on servers for some MP fun. It is good to see the community still release incomplete work as it helps other understand how to do things. Yet again, another mod/project has demonstarted the versatility of the CryENGINE, this time in the form of Virtual Scylla.

Today Platinum Gold and AlligatorJack have released 4 more pictures of the up and coming Delta Sector Mod, showing some more atmospheric pictures of new aliens flying around (not seen before) and players. The mod has its own unique moody feel that sets it apart from other Single Player mods, which most of what we have seen, are custom objects and textures throughout the levels.
