After several months of development and intensive testing we can finally provide you the new "Far Cry Linux Dedicated Server v1.33". We updated it to the most recent version of Far Cry and furthermore did a lot of bugfixing and optimizing. Next to mods not working properly on the server, some gameplay bugs have been fixed as well. Also the crash bug that appeared on the previous version has been addressed and resolved. The stability of the server has been improved a lot. You can download the 6MB sized version from one of the links below.

For all of those who are new to the Linux Dedicated Servers and/or have questions how to set it up correctly Slugworth has created an excellent manual which explains everything step by step - including PunkBuster support, start scripts and much more! It is a must read for everyone out there who wants to know more about the possibilities of the server.

Nach Monaten der Entwicklung und des intensiven Testens können wir euch endlich den neuen "FarCry Linux Dedicated Server v1.33" bereitstellen. Er wurde auf die allerneueste Far Cry Version geupdated, viele Fehler behoben und nebenbei auch noch Optimiert. Neben dem Fix zu Kompatilibiltätsproblemen bei einigen Mods, wurden unter anderem auch Gameplay-Fehler ausgebessert. Auch der Crash aus der vorherigen Version konnte erkannt und erfolgreich beseitigt werden. Die Stabilität des Servers wurde starkt verbessert. Ihr könnt die knapp 6MB große Version von einem der Links weiter unten Downloaden.

Für all diejenigen, die sich neu mit dem Linux Dedicated Server beschäftigen und/oder Fragen bezüglich des Aufsetzens haben, hat Slugworth ein exzellentes Manual erstellt, welches alles nötige Schritt für Schritt erklärt - inklusive PunkBuster Support, Start-Skripte und vieles mehr! Es ist ein unbedingtes muss für jeden der mehr über die Möglichkeiten des Servers wissen will.
