Seit ein paar Wochen schon haben einige Leute die Möglichkeit die "Obsidian Edge Mod" in der closed Beta zu spielen. Um die Wartezeit auf die nächste Woche startende zweite Beta-Phase zu verkürzen, hat das Mod-Team Polishing Weevils jetzt einen sehr schönen Ingame Teaser ihrer Mod veröffentlicht. Das 20MB große und 2 Minuten lange video zeigt sehr coole Ingame Kämpfe mit neuen Models und Maps. Eine Public Beta ist in ca 2-3 Wochen geplant, eine Veröffentlichung ist also nichtmehr all zu weit entfernt :)

Today it is again the Freestyle-Productions team that provides you with news. At this time OriK and xezon are currently doing some final work on the amazing oldtimer Mercedes 208SE. To have a more realistic look they used interior photo copies of the original one. Furthermore they implemented a new body, completely new chrome shaders with an neutral environment map, new lights at front and bank, a new window damage concept and a full working exhaust. The 195km/h fast car can carry 3 passengers + the driver and has a polycount of around 4800. The release is planned very soon, so you already should take a seat and buckle up!

Heute ist es wieder das Freestyle-Productions Team das für News sorgt. Diesmal sind es Orik und xezon die ihre Arbeiten am Oldtimer Mercedes 208SE so gut wie abgeschlossen haben. Um ein realistischeres Aussehen zu bekommen haben sie Photokopien der Innenausstattung des Originals genommen. Desweiteren wurden ein neuer Body, ein komplett neuer Chrome-Shader mit einer neutralen Environment-Map, neue Lichter vorne und hinten, ein neues Window-Schaden Konzept und ein voll funktionstüchtiger Auspuff entwickelt und eingefügt. Das 195km/h schnelle Auto kann 3 Passagiere fassen + den Fahrer und besitzt einen Polycount von ca 4800. Der Release ist in Kürze geplant, also nehmt am Besten schonmal Platz und schnallt euch an!

Viele Leute warten schon darauf, jetzt ist er endlich veröffentlicht - der FarCry Linux Dedicated Server Version 1.31. Neben dem Update auf die neueste FarCry Version beinhaltet der Patch einen Fix damit man Mods jetzt problemlos laufen lassen kann und die Autodownload Funktion des Windows Servers. Um den Server erfolgreich upzudaten, extrahiert ihr die Files einfach in euer "bin32linux" Verzeichnis.
