James-Ryan from our forums wanted improve the physic engine of FarCry and successfully created the physical pickups addon. Every pickup (weapon, armor, ammo, etc.) now has a correct physics behaviour with dropsounds. The script is free for everyone and as a little bonus he created 2 very cool small ingame movies, downloadable from the links below, showing how the addon works and what can be done with it. To install the addon just extract the zip file into your mod folder and load it as mod in FarCry.

James-Ryan aus unserem Forum hat sich der Physik Engine von FarCry angenommen und entwickelte erfolgreich das Physical Pickups Addon. Damit besitzt jedes Pickup (Waffe, Rüstung, Munition, etc.) ein korrekt berechnetes physikalisches Verhalten und Dropsounds. Das Script ist frei zugänglich für Jederman. Als kleinen Bonus, und um zu zeigen was man alles damit machen kann und wie es funktioniert, hat er auch 2 kleine sehr coole ingame Videos erstellt dessen Links ihr weiter unten finden könnt. Um das Addon zu installieren müsst ihr einfach nur die Zip-Datei in euer Mod Verzeichnis kopieren und diese dann in FarCry laden.
