Today we would like to introduce you to our latest community activity regarding gathering valuable feedback on our blockbuster FPS Crysis. Mit etwas Verzögerung hat nun als erstes PCAction das finale "Crysis-HQ Mapping Contest MapPack v1.0" auf DvD gepresst. Diese liegt der aktuellen (vom 21.05.2008) Ausgabe der Zeitschrift bei.

Dem ersten Crysis HQ Mapping Contest entsprangen viele genialen Karten für die aktuelle Grafikreferenz im Shooterbereich. Aber nur die besten der eingesandten die ausgelobten Preise und wurden in der finalen Version der Map-Packs verewigt, das wir auf unsere DVD gepackt haben. Erleben Sie also zwölf schicke Mehrspielerschauplätze für Instant Action (IA) und Power Struggle (PS), die sich ganz einfach per Installationsdatei auf Ihren Rechner schaufeln lassen."

CryENGINE®2 adopted by the Mediadesign Hochschule for students to acquire hands-on experience with the latest in visual technology. The Mediadesign Hochschule recently obtained a license for use of the CryENGINE®2 for both teaching and research purposes.

This engine, which was recently used to develop the multi-award winning game Crysis, will be available for both interdisciplinary projects and for students undertaking the Bachelors Degree in game design studies.

[CryProductions] - Noname Island - Episode1

UPDATE 19.05.2008 @ 16:10 Uhr: Die MOD wurde temporär offline genommen, da es einige Bugs bzw. Unstimmigkeiten gab. Der Download (dann mit Installer) wird die kommenden Tage nachgereicht. Bitte habt also etwas Geduld und entschuldigt die Umstände.

Was geschah mit Nomad? War er zu Beginn von Crysis bloß in ein Nickerchen gefallen, oder gar in Ohnmacht? Noname Island erzählt die Vorgeschichte zum Hauptspiel.

Aufgeteilt in zwei Episoden geht es durch sieben verschiedene Level. Vom Urwald bis zum Canyon. Von der Wüste zur Küste, bis hin zum Finale auf dem Inselgrößtem Berg.

Auf sich alleine gestellt oder im Team.
