PAX Prime 2013, one of North America’s great gaming events, took place from August 30th to September 2nd this year in Seattle; Crytek’s Xbox One exclusive Ryse: Son of Rome was on show to let players experience the game in its full glory right before its launch this fall.
Crytek’s upcoming free-to-play shooter Warface is currently on display at several locations at the GameX convention in Istanbul, Turkey.
The Crytek team in Istanbul came to the city in style: they brought a tank replica to the expo to get prospective Warface soldiers excited to play the game. There are several stations where players can sign up for Warface Closed Beta and at the Playstore booth players have the chance to get more info about pre-order Warface Credit packages. The game casts you as part of Warface, a select unit of elite warriors that have banded together to fight Blackwood – the ruling brute-force government. It features intense first-person shooter co-op and competitive multiplayer gameplay with regularly updated content.
Skiing and snowboarding down a mountain is one of the most exciting and adrenaline-evoking activities on the planet – albeit not one that is frequently associated with gaming – and unfortunately for the true fanatics it is not always an all-year possibility. But SNOW provides continuous winter-fun with competitive and explorative gameplay, even for the ones who have never set a ski on a slope before!
SNOW is the first open world, free-to-play skiing and snowboarding game, which aims to recreate a realistic experience representative of the sport by using Crytek’s state-of-the-art CRYENGINE. It is created by Poppermost Productions, a small developer based in Stockholm, Sweden. It consists of CEO and Game Director Alexander Bergendahl, Tech Director and Programmer Filip Lundgren, and Art Director Markus Palviainen. SNOW is currently in the early stages of development and is planned to be released on Steam Early Access later this year.
